You want to be able to easily stretch the waist band over your widest measurement (your hips/Butt) so you can comfortably pull the pants on and off. 

*Make sure the measurement of the fully stretched waist band is equal to or greater than your hip/but measurements. See the Size Guide for more info and size suggestions
